- Who is a member of the PTA? Every parent, guardian, teacher or carer of a child at Norland School is automatically a member of the Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA).
- How does it work? The PTFA is currently run by a core of volunteers who regularly attend the PTFA meetings and help to organise events such as the School Discos, Summer Fair and Film Nights. We have officers of the PTFA, however everyone is free to contribute as little or as much as they like as infrequently or as often as they like. The role of the PTFA committee is to encourage close links between home and school. The committee is responsible for organising fundraising events and projects outside of the school's own remit, with a view to raising funds to make the children of Norland CE School’s learning more interesting and exciting. It is our aim to be able to provide extras that are not paid for by the school's main income.
PTFA
The PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) of Norland School is an essential group who organise activities and help to raise money for additional activities and resources in school.
