SIAMS

“Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” (Corinthians 13:7)
Together we learn to
Be the Best we can be, guided by God’s love.
We live out the Christian values of
Forgiveness, Friendship, Hope, and Trust,
encouraging everyone to achieve their God-given potential,

develop their talents, celebrate their uniqueness,
and rejoice in the joy of belonging to God’s family.

SIAMS stands for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. It’s a type of inspection that looks at how church schools, like ours, express and live out their Christian vision and values in everyday school life.

The inspection doesn’t just focus on religious education or worship — it looks at how the school’s Christian character helps every child and adult to flourish, whatever their background or beliefs.

What SIAMS looks at

During a SIAMS inspection, inspectors explore things like:

  • How our Christian vision shapes the life of the school

  • How we help children to grow spiritually, morally, socially, and academically

  • How collective worship and religious education support children’s understanding of themselves and others

  • How well we care for everyone in our school community

Why it matters

SIAMS helps ensure that church schools are inclusive, caring, and values-driven places to learn. The inspection celebrates what’s going well and helps us keep improving so that every child can thrive.
